Coinciding with the opening night of Contemporary Istanbul's 20th edition, Tersane İstanbul hosted the renowned gastronomy collective We Are Ona along the Golden Horn, in collaboration with BMW. Set between two historic buildings, the site-specific long table featured a striking curatorial design of primary colors and textiles, creating an intimate and immersive atmosphere. Crafted by the rising star of the culinary scene, Chef Sertaç Dirik, and attended by the collective's founder Luca Pronzato, this exclusive evening marked the Paris-based collective's very first project in Türkiye.
Transforming the shores of the Golden Horn into a vibrant open-air experience, Tersane İstanbul Bahar Edition brought together art, gastronomy, music, and sports through a dynamic seasonal programming approach. The event's visual landscape was shaped by Sergen Şehitoğlu’s large-scale floral installations blending industrial heritage with modern energy, alongside Uğur Acil’s floating forms in the glass atrium, while the Step Forum turned into a bustling neighborhood square with acoustic concerts, a Farmers Market, and a Kids Flea Market. Featuring a multidisciplinary lineup ranging from sunset performances by Ferit Odman, Barış Demirel, and Fikri Karayel to the Tersane İstanbul Rowing Cup Youth Regatta, the inaugural edition welcomed thousands of visitors, launching a new urban tradition that redefines waterfront living and community culture in Istanbul.
The group ceramic exhibition "Earth Is Not Asleep" (Toprak Uykuda Değil), realized through the collaboration of Tersane Istanbul and Kolekta under the main sponsorship of KTSM (Kale Design and Art Center), met with its audience at Pasaj between December 5, 2025, and January 30, 2026. Bringing together prominent examples of contemporary ceramic production on the shores of the Golden Horn, the exhibition showcased works by 32 artists and groups under one roof, approaching earth as a living entity that traces a journey from the oldest marks of human history to today’s rapidly changing world. Ranging from sculptural forms to surface-oriented pieces and from experimental techniques to classical interpretations, the works emphasized that ceramics serve as a bridge between the craft memory of the past and contemporary art practice, while the gathering of both emerging and experienced artists highlighted the flexibility of the medium. Supported by LG OLED and Tepta, the exhibition presented a contemporary panorama featuring works by Abrahamm Creative Studio, Ayşe Kurt, Ayşegül Düşek, Cansu Sönmez, Enise Duyar, Erdil Yaşaroğlu, Ertuğrul Güngör & Faruk Ertekin, Eymen Aktel, Füreya, Gamze Öçkoymaz Erden, Gökçe İrten, İhsan Berke Saraçoğlu, İsmail Tuğran, Jennifer İpekel, Leyla Pekmen, Mesut Öztürk, Metehan Törer, Metin Ertürk, Oddviz, Ömer Emre Yavuz, Pınar Baklan, Samet Can Alış, Saliha Yılmaz, Sena, Sevim Kaya, Sine İçli, Sinem Yeniaras, Tufan Baltalar, Tümay Erman, Umut Kambak, Volkan Aslan, and Yasemin Özcan.

Running from November 28, 2025, to February 1, 2026, Tersane Istanbul Winter Town transformed the shores of the Golden Horn into a magical winter wonderland featuring light installations, themed food stalls, and a carousel. Starting with an enchanting opening ceremony, the program energized the city with live performances and a festive atmosphere, offering an unforgettable experience for families and children particularly through character meet-and-greets at Nickelodeon Play!. Enriched with classic winter delicacies and special New Year's events, Winter Town established itself as one of Istanbul’s premier winter meeting destinations for two months.
Between July 17 and September 18, 2025, Tersane Istanbul Open-Air Cinema turned the shores of the Golden Horn into a premier destination for film enthusiasts with a diverse 12-film selection ranging from blockbusters to independent cinema. Enhanced by quiz nights and director talks, the program featured: July 17: Captain America: Brave New World, July 22: Materialists, July 24: Maria, July 31: Conclave, August 7: Saykoterapi, August 14: The Substance, August 21: Superman, August 28: F1: The Movie, September 4: Riff Raff, September 11: A Real Pain, September 14: Aznavour, and September 18: A Complete Unknown. This series established a unique nightly routine blending film, conversation, and the iconic Golden Horn view.

Tersane Istanbul brought families together on the shores of the Golden Horn throughout the autumn of 2025 with the Fairy Tale Children's Carnival, held every weekend. Spreading across indoor and outdoor areas on Saturdays and Sundays, the carnival offered children a full day of workshops, stage performances, and play experiences. The carnival program was designed across a wide spectrum, ranging from creative workshops focused on painting, puppet making, and recycling to music and dance activities. Limited-capacity workshops were repeated throughout the day to suit every age group. Colorful decorations and play stations placed in the outdoor areas of Tersane Istanbul established a safe and enjoyable weekend route for families. The carnival atmosphere was complemented by special all-day menus from Tersane Istanbul’s food and beverage brands, including Günaydın Et Lokantası, Mykorini, Em Sherif, Lulu Lounge, Cup of Joy, Halcyon Days, and Godiva Café. The open-buffet Sunday Brunch served at Velena Food Market within Rixos Tersane Istanbul became a meeting point that crowned the carnival Sundays with flavor.
On August 27, 2025, the Tersane Istanbul Dinner Theatre merged cinema and gastronomy into a unique sensory experience on the shores of the Golden Horn. Featuring world-renowned director Ferzan Özpetek’s "An Istanbul Trilogy: Meze-Music-Conversation," the evening showcased a special menu by Chef Murat Deniz Temel designed to synchronize and dialogue with the moments on screen. The event transformed traditional open-air cinema into a multi-sensory journey where film, flavor, and conversation converged at the same table.

Beauty & Wellness Week (February 1-13, 2026) offered a holistic program at Tersane Istanbul, merging beauty, sports, and creativity. Following the opening at Rixos Tersane Istanbul, active training days were held in collaboration with Lululemon (with Görkem Doğan) and Nike. The Mall hosted exclusive treatments from global giants including Beymen Beauty, Sephora, L'Occitane, Guerlain, Tom Ford, Kilian, Valmont, Barbara Sturm, Gucci Beauty, and La Prairie. Additionally, workshops with Mehmet İşcan (calligraphy), Esra Gezer & Dilruba Kireç (kintsugi, ceramics), and Damla Yalçın (needlepoint) integrated well-being with creative production.

The world-famous supercar rally Gumball 3000 chose Istanbul and Tersane Istanbul as the starting point for its 26th edition for the first time. At the start of the event held on September 20-21, 2025, more than 100 supercars, including collectible vehicles such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Bugatti, gathered at Rixos Tersane Istanbul. On Saturday, the vehicles were moved from Tersane Istanbul to Sultanahmet Square under police escort and met with automobile enthusiasts in a public exhibition. The evening concluded with an after-party hosted by Mondaine de Pariso at Aliée Istanbul. Following the official start from Sultanahmet Square on Sunday, the rally concluded in Ibiza on September 27 via Bucharest, Belgrade, Florence, Nice, and Valencia.

On the evening of December 4, 2025, Tersane Istanbul hosted Full Moon Shopping Night, bringing the rhythm of city life to a night where the full moon shone extraordinarily bright over the Golden Horn. The Mall stores and Winter Town extended their closing hours to 00:00 specifically for this themed night, welcoming visitors much longer than usual. The historic streets and modern storefronts were transformed into a unique nocturnal atmosphere under the moonlight. Distinguished brands at The Mall, such as Victoria's Secret, Beymen, Gucci, Tom Ford, Lacoste, Gant, İpekyol, Samsonite, Gizia, and Brandeyes, greeted visitors with exclusive discounts, personalization experiences, and surprise gifts. While Burberry's gift-awarding game continued at the Beymen Beauty Studio, Yiğit İzgi offered New Year's makeup applications to guests in the By Terry area. Brandeyes enlivened the Lacoste, Ramsey, House of Superstep, and Gant stores with live music and DJ performances. The element that took the night beyond shopping was the serene and meditative program established on the shores of the Golden Horn. The Full Moon Yoga session brought visitors together for breath and movement work accompanied by the reflection of the moonlight on the water. Meanwhile, the Tersane Istanbul Rowing Club opened participants up to the nighttime silence of the Golden Horn with Full Moon Rowing Experiences organized in two separate sessions. The night-specific window displays, combined with Winter Town's kiosks and carousel, turned Tersane Istanbul into a winter fairy tale under the full moon.

The EA7 World Legends Padel Tour hosted the Istanbul Open leg at the padel courts of Tersane Istanbul on September 19-20, 2025. Organized under the title sponsorship of EA7 Emporio Armani, the sixth stage of this global tournament—which brings football legends together on the padel court—was played on the shores of the Golden Horn following stops in London, Paris, Rome, Madrid, and Amsterdam. Over two days, 16 former football stars, including world champions such as Francesco Totti, Marco Materazzi, Luca Toni, and Vincent Candela, competed for the right to participate in the finals in Miami. Other international participants included Christian Vieri, Nelson Dida, Christian Panucci, Diego Perotti, Atiba Hutchinson, Luigi Di Biagio, and Aatif Chahechouhe. Legends of Turkish football, Volkan Demirel, Mehmet Topal, and Aydın Yılmaz, also appeared on the court during the tournament. The final matches were played on Saturday, September 20, at Tersane Istanbul, providing the winners of the Istanbul Open with direct entry to the Finals held in Miami on November 28-29, 2025.
Held on September 6-7, 2025, the DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup revived the Golden Horn's rowing heritage—dating back to 1579 and the era of Sultan Murad III—as a vibrant, modern tradition. The inaugural event brought together 54 teams, including elite international clubs from the Netherlands, Spain, and Egypt, alongside corporate powerhouses like CHANEL, Richemont, Turkcell, QNB, İş Bankası, and Beymen Group. While RV Hollandia claimed victory in the Club Coastal category, Turkcell emerged as the champion of the Corporate category. Welcoming 7,000 visitors daily, the shores were transformed by a "Riviera Chic" aesthetic, featuring refined green-and-white striped decor and exclusive hospitality at the Rixos Tersane Istanbul Corporate Lounge. The weekend culminated in a legendary finale as Fazıl Say performed with the Haliç Orchestra against the backdrop of the Phanar Greek Orthodox College, which was illuminated for the first time in decades, reflecting its golden light onto the waters of the Golden Horn.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary from September 24-28, 2025, Contemporary Istanbul transformed Tersane Istanbul into a global art hub, welcoming 54,320 visitors to the shores of the Golden Horn. In partnership with Akbank and Tersane Istanbul, this milestone edition brought together 52 galleries from 16 countries, showcasing 931 works by 579 artists. Highlights included large-scale installations by Arcangelo Sassolino and Summer Wheat at Aliée Istanbul, the Turkish debut of Judy Chicago’s iconic "What if Women Ruled the World?", and a prestigious "Focus America" section featuring industry leaders like Marina Abramović and Anne Pasternak. By integrating the city’s architectural heritage with contemporary practice—complemented by a unique naval transportation experience that carried 17,000 guests across the Bosphorus—the 20th year of Contemporary Istanbul solidified Tersane Istanbul’s position as a permanent and premier destination for international contemporary art.

From September 16 to December 14, 2025, Tersane Istanbul hosted Italian artist Arcangelo Sassolino’s monumental installation "The State of Desire," realized in collaboration with Galleria Continua and supported by Beymen. This 18-meter-long, 2.4-ton mechanical metronome brought the tension between iron and marble to G8-The Space, exploring the never-ending cycle of desire and the fragile balance of the human condition on the shores of the Golden Horn. By merging the 600-year-old shipyard’s engineering heritage with contemporary art’s dialogue between physics and philosophy, the exhibition further solidified Tersane Istanbul’s position on the global art circuit and its cultural vision shaped by international collaborations.
